So yeah, wow. I haven’t written in a month. My friend’s mother’s passing hit pretty hard. She died of lung cancer (and never smoked a cigarette in her life).

Fitbit

So my brother got a new and ‘fancier’ one and gave me his old one. I set it all up last night and am hoping this encourages me to be more active. As with most winters, I get comfortable and almost lazy and barely want to do anything. It has been so nice. With everyone except the Dean and two other coworkers on my floor, everyone is on vacation. The quiet has been wonderful as I actually get most of my work done first thing in the morning and then I have the rest of the day to write.
